Abstract: This study described the solvent extraction of residual oil from filter cake sludge. This study was conducted using soxhlet method with three different solvents, namely n-hexane, methanol and acetone. Prior to that, the sample was dried at 105°C to obtain the profile of moisture content and optimum drying time.
